Third Party Inspections

Multi-Family - condominiums, townhome and apartment buildings are the subject of much litigation.

WEINTRAUB INSPECTIONS & FORENSIC, INC. offers OWNERS. BUILDERS & DEVELOPERS the option of retaining third party inspection services on their multi-family buildings during construction to observe, inspect & enforce compliance with Building Code and the Construction Documents.

1. PEER REVIEW of the construction documents to head off potential problems.
2. EDUCATION that includes monthly power-point classes to the superintendents and trade partners on subjects pertinent to their jobs.
   AND, daily personal on-the-job training.
3. INSPECTION (and testing as-needed) of the following systems (in-general):
   • Underground Plumbing
   • Foundation, Hold-Downs
   • Slab, including Post Tensioning or Conv. Reinf.
   • Rough Frame including floor framing, roof framing and walls
   • Sheathing, Tie-Downs
   • Dry-In Membrane Systems In-Progress including Flashing
   • Mech., Elec., Plumbing
   • Insulation
   • Drywall
   • Sound Insulating System
   • Fire Rated Assemblies
4. DOCUMENTATION of initial inspection results and follow-up re-inspection results to ensure deficiencies are corrected are provided by e-mail to all designated parties.
5. CUSTOM program, designed to meet your specific requirements. For example: photograph verification, specific reporting needs.
